Staff

Staff at SJS are part of a vibrant learning community. They enjoy a sense of collegiality and work with a motivated and engaged student population. Staff come from diverse cultural backgrounds and value and promote the attributes of the International Baccalaureate Organisation’s, Learner Profile. To this end they strive to be knowledgeable, principled, open-minded, caring, balanced and reflective inquirers, thinkers, risk-takers and communicators.

All teaching staff are professionally qualified and certified educators with many holding post-graduate and higher degrees.

The teaching staff, including specialist teachers and members of the leadership and management team number 45. They are supported by 33 educational assistants and 10 office staff, technicians and library/resources staff. SJS currently has 12 site staff who maintain the schools facilities.
